Applying to Start a Club

Each semester, Girls Who Code will need to reapply for membership in the Lucy Simms Center in partnership with the Boys & Girls Club. To apply for membership, follow these steps:

Search GirlsWhoCode.com in your web browser. Once there, hover over the tab that says

Get Involved and select Start a Club from the drop-down menu.

Once on this page, scroll through the page and ensure that you have the proper resources at your disposal to establish this club. Once you read through the checklist, select Start a Club Today!

Step 2:
Read Through Club Conditions

This is a short application that should take about 10 minutes. It will ask for your contact information and personal information. Next, it will ask for faculty partner names and the location where you wish to host the club.

Before filling this section out, ensure that the Boys & Girls Club have a room, time, and day when the club will be executed and that your faculty can attend during these times.

Finally, it will ask that you agree to have a background check. Simply click yes and await an email from Girls Who Code with login information for your Facilitator Toolkit website-this is where you will access all club curriculum.
