JMU
ON THE
ROAD
In addition to analyzing research, instruction sets, and news articles, myself and a group of three others created our own instruction set.
THE ABC QUICK CHECK
The instruction set here is about the ABC Quick Check. Prior to riding your bike, especially around campus, it is wise to check your bike for any loose parts or problems.
In order to do this, there is a simple acronym:
A for Air Pressure
B for Brakes
C for Cranks, Chains, and Cogs
Q for Quick Release
C for Check!
These are all aspects of your bike to check before riding. Within our instructional video, we provide certain aspects to check on your bike in regard to each letter. An additional video was made as a supplemental video for teaching students how to increase their air pressure in their tires.
Please enjoy our instructional, JMU based video!
Influence for
the Video
The inspiration behind this work comes from Reading Log 2.
Reading Log 2 is a set of five analyses of instruction sets and how to properly create and analyze them.
Using that information, a group of us created an instruction set with our current theme in mind of bike safety. This bike safety video applies to our university and encourages the biking community to ride safely.
Below you can find our main video in addition to a supplemental video that further explains a section of the main video.
